BORN IN ITALY, PERFECTED IN NORTH CAROLINA

During our nearly fifteen years in London, we fell in love with Italy — the warmth of its people, the simplicity of its food, and the joy of real gelato. The experience of tasting authentic Italian gelato—smooth, dense, made with real ingredients—changed the way we thought about frozen desserts. When we eventually moved to North Carolina, we knew it was the perfect place to bring the Italian tradition of authentic gelato.

To learn our craft, we went straight to the source. We trained at Carpigiani’s Gelato University in Bologna, where we learned the art and science of traditional gelato-making, and continued to hone our craft with the guidance of a master gelatiere.

In 2022, we opened Geluna Gelato, inspired by the Italian gelato we fell in love with, and the bounty of local ingredients we found here in North Carolina.
