We’re a family-owned business, a husband and wife who fell in love with gelato and knew NC would be the perfect place to bring the Italian tradition of authentic gelato. Before opening, we trained at Carpigiani’s Gelato University in Bologna, where we learned the art and science of traditional gelato-making, and continued to hone our craft with the guidance of a master gelatiere.
In 2022, we opened Geluna Gelato in Downtown Cary, inspired by the Italian gelato we fell in love with, and the bounty of local ingredients we find here in North Carolina.
